Different minds think alike
Steve Jobs and Bill gates are easily known as the two best when it came too technology, but both had a different interpretation of what was too come in the technology world.
Bill gates was one who was heavily smart in high school but didn't share what jobs had. Gates didn't have a vision, as jobs did, Gates was strictly about business and making profit off technology, he believed in more about open products, and cared less about having the design look stunning from the outside.
"He and I, in a sense, grew up together," explained Gates. "We were within a year of the same age, and we were kind of naively optimistic and built big companies. And every fantasy we had about creating products and learning new things-- we achieved all of it. And most of it as rivals. But we always retained a certain respect and communication, including even when he was sick."- Bill Gates

As can be seen from this chart, the comparison between Jobs and Gates has quite a differential when it comes to Money as Gates had made more money but cared more for the product then the intellectual design, as Jobs cared for more of the design and overlook and getting things done in a faster way.
"Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn't matter to me... Going to bed at night saying we've done something wonderful.... Thats what matters too me." - Steve Jobs
